Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding, 30 December 1986, in Hereford, England) is an English musician and singer. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 with her irresistible electronic pop songs "Starry Eyed" as well as Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. The soprano's quirk and her ability to write catchy but emotionally sincere songs puts her on the frontline of modern mainstream music, as well as arty and independent pop. Polydor Records signed her to one of their record labels and she was preparing the release of her debut album.
