KellyKelly Clarkson in her full Kelly Brianne Clarkson was an American music producer and singer who rose to fame after she won American Idol's 2002 talent show. Clarkson was raised in Burleson Texas (a suburban area within Fort Worth), where her singing abilities were first recognized by her seventh grade choir teacher. Clarkson dropped out of high school to relocate to Los Angeles where she failed to make it in the industry of entertainment. Clarkson was chosen as a participant in the Fox Broadcasting Co.'s American Idol singing competition, that allowed the viewers to cast their vote on their favourite performance. Viewers were smitten with Clarkson's strong performance, charisma, and humor. Clarkson won $1 million, as well as a recording contract in partnership with RCA to be her reward.
