
Constance Marie Lopez, born September 9, 1965 [1] is an American actor from America. Her credits include Angie Lopez in George Lopez (2002-2007) and Marcela Quintanilla, mother to Selena, in Selena (1997). She portrayed Regina Vasquez in the ABC Family/Freeform drama series Switched at Birth (2011-2017). She currently plays Camila Diaz on Amazon Prime Video's drama series Undone (2019). Marie started her acting career during her teens. Salsa, 1988, was her debut film. Other credits on television and film include Early Edition and Dirty Dancing, Selena and Spin City and Ally McBeal. Marie was chosen for the role as Angie Lopez in the ABC comedy series George Lopez. Marie appeared alongside Jacqueline Obradors, Hector Elizondo and Elizabeth Pena in the 2001 comedy-drama Tortilla Soup. She also appeared on the set of the PBS drama American Family. Her own clothing line, "The Constance Marie collection", was launched in the month of October. She also appeared in an advertisement for PETA in the same year, urging pet owners to spay and neuter their pets. The role was played by Regina Vasquez (the birth mother of one baby and the legal mother of the other).
